Assetz ANZ is looking for an Investment Associate based in our Sydney CBD office.

The Investment Associate role has a dynamic scope including reviewing potential investments in Australia and New Zealand, implementing reporting and control systems and designing, building and executing financial modelling throughout the project life cycle. Position purpose
Reporting to the Assetz ANZ Development Director, this role has a dynamic scope with all-rounder execution including design and implementation of feasibility and reporting modelling, driving the evaluation, underwriting and due diligence of new investment opportunities and managing portfolio of existing investments. Key responsibilities of the Investment Associate include construction of a fit-for-purpose feasibility model, undertaking financial and commercial assessments, applying financial modelling analysis models, forecasting investment outcomes, using statistical tools, assessing economic data and market landscape, developing/implementing reporting processes and reviewing portfolio performance.
The Investment Associate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, providing returns analysis and drafting investment papers, performing deal structuring and due diligence, and review/ update reporting formats for performance management. The role requires strong technical fundamentals of investment management with prior financial modelling skills (independence on modelling of new deals and scenarios) and preferably some experience with asset management and reporting.
The Investment Associate will also support the Group’s capital raise activities including identification and filtering of potential capital raise advisors, development of investment proposals and investment memorandums and evaluation of offers received. The individual will be expected to have an in-depth understanding of AGP business strategy and step-in to support Company management and broader team in day-to-day operations as required.
